Little Half Studio was founded by local artist Kathy, Chan Ka Yee.
She created a character named ‘Little Half’ in 2014. Little Half is a little fat and shy girl with a round face, who learns to embrace her fears and accepts her imperfections while working to become courageous and comfortable with herself.
Kathy earned a master's degree in Children's Book Illustration at the Cambridge School of Art in 2021. She is the author and illustrator of the picture books ‘The Happy Frame’ and ‘I Became a Cellphonian’. Her work can be described as intuitive, poetic and child-like.
This is the main venue for her art creation. It is also regularly open to the public as a store selling her illustration products. It also holds workshops or exhibitions occasionally. It is a place for people to gather and talk about art and life.
