通過認識地產霸權，香港人方才開始意識到我們的公共空間規劃，比二十世紀的時候更受現代主義荼毒。嶄新的屋苑商廈，它們被過度管理，忠於利潤最大化，反人性，但同時提供清新空調，媚俗的室內設計，以及目不暇給的消費品，好把我們麻醉於都市的勝利之中，卻使我們雙腳離地，悄悄驅逐我們於自己的城市之外。
所以我們需要廢墟，這些骯髒，破舊，危險的建築殘留，正正就是救贖我們的解毒劑。它們相當於系統裏的小破綻，讓我們暫時置身於管理之外，觀看被時間吞噬的破敗。廢墟，就是敵托邦裏的樂園，藏著擊倒建制的愉快養份。我們希望能為你們作個嚮導，讓你們好好看一下被你們忘掉的樂園...
Hong Kongers start to realize the very 20th century modernist urban planning in the city, not until the real-estate hegemony revealed itself. The new housing projects and commercial buildings around us are well organised, they are anti-humane, set up to generate greatest profit; On the other hand, they provide the most refreshing air-conditioning, cliched decorations with dazzling commodities, so we are well immersed in their metropolitan glory, without realizing that we are exiled.
That's why ruins are needed. These dingy, shabby and dangerous remains serve as the antidote, a flaw of the arrogant establishment. Situate in a ruin, one can temporarily escape from the eye of the big brother, and relish the destructive nature of time. Ruin, it is the paradise inside dystopia, where the happy sustenance devastating the establishment is concealed. We are here to guide you, to have you a glimpse of your forgotton paradise...
