Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre First Anniversary Celebration Event
To celebrate the first anniversary of the tenants’ studios and JCCAC, “ONE Open Studio” will be held from 17 to 18 Oct 2009. We cordially invite you to visit the fascinating studios of the artists and share their artistic endeavor of the year.
The artists involved have a wide variety of backgrounds. Artists will exhibit paintings, sculptures, ceramics, mixed media, prints, photography and calligraphies. Visitors can travel around the artists’ workplaces and learn about their arts and techniques. You are also welcome to chat with artists in a friendly, open atmosphere.
ONE Exhibition
Resident artists will display their art pieces with the theme “ONE” at various places in the Centre. It would be wonderful for the visitors to appreciate brilliant art pieces during their visit.
Workshops and Performances
Moreover, resident artists will host demonstration workshops and live performances for the public, such as coffee and latte art demonstration, contemporary music performances, demonstration of printmaking and string puppet show. Artists are pleased to teach and illustrate the creation of their art pieces. These are valuable chances to learn from the sophisticated and professional artists.
